AV Solutions Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute audio, video, and control design tasks to assist in the sales, design, implementation, and support of custom audiovisual systems.

• Support Sales and Technology Consulting by generating ROM pricing and assessing facility impacts to aid client budgeting.

• Create project documentation including functional narratives, single line diagrams, plan drawings, details, elevations, bill of materials, technical narratives, pull schedules, and any additional information necessary to clearly convey deployment expectations.

• Engage in both internal and external design meetings to convert client functional requirements into effective technical systems.

• Travel to meet with colleagues and clients periodically.

• Stay updated on the latest technologies through manufacturer and industry training.

• Work collaboratively with Electrosonic Consultants throughout the design phase to ensure client needs are addressed.

• Partner with Electrosonic Engineers during the implementation phase to guarantee that design intentions are comprehended.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree (or equivalent professional experience) in a related field.

• 2+ years of experience as an audiovisual designer or over 6 years in other audiovisual positions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present concepts to creative clients and senior executives.

• Proficient understanding of audiovisual technology, show control systems, and media networks.

• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• AVIXA CTS and CTS-D Certification (Preferred).

• Familiarity with software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and EASE (Preferred).

• Knowledge of technology platforms including Pixera, Q-SYS, and ISAAC (Preferred).
