Automotive Technician, Freelance Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing escalated technical cases from frontline support, verifying information, conducting in-depth analyses, and establishing corrective measures.

• Delivering both remote and on-site assistance to dealers and technical teams to guarantee prompt and effective vehicle repairs.

• Creating clear and organized technical reports for OEM and internal stakeholders that emphasize risks, trends, and areas needing improvement.

• Tracking activity KPIs (case aging, recurrence, fix-it-right-first-time) and highlighting early warning signals regarding product or process issues.

• Contributing to the technical knowledge base and best practices, facilitating the ongoing enhancement of Level 1 agents and workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid automotive technical background with experience in diagnostics and complex repairs (dealership, workshop, or OEM setting).

• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical data, fault codes, and log files to identify root causes and recurring vehicle issues.

• Proficient in translating OEM technical documentation, wiring diagrams, and procedures into clear repair instructions for workshops.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; capable of explaining complex technical subjects in an easily understandable manner.

• Team-oriented with a proactive approach, logical and curious mindset, able to function in multi-market, multi-stakeholder environments.
