This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Identify growth opportunities in the portfolio by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Flooring Company’s products.
• Perform market research to stay competitive and align services with industry developments.
• Manage the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve any issues or concerns expressed by clients.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to refine processes and improve customer experiences.
• Offer training and support to dealerships regarding the utilization of financing solutions and services.
• Keep an eye on dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Create and uphold risk assessment models to gauge dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to guarantee adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assess the portfolio's performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry across various sectors.
• Strong financial knowledge with a working grasp of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with clients and collaborate with internal team members and external partners at various organizational levels.
• Superior time management skills with the capability to meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and collection skills.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
