Automation Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute automated testing scripts utilizing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Jira.

• Assess requirements and formulate comprehensive test cases and scenarios for automation testing.

• Run automated test scripts and evaluate results to detect defects and issues.

• Carry out manual testing and regression testing.

• Document bugs and issues for the development team, offering detailed information and steps to replicate the problem.

• Collaborate closely with developers and other team members to ensure smooth integration and testing.

• Keep abreast of the latest automation testing tools and techniques, implementing enhancements in the testing process.

• Maintain and refresh documentation of test cases, test plans, and results.

• Conduct performance testing to verify that the software meets performance standards and benchmarks.

• Engage in and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm end-to-end business workflows.

• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to support team goals and ensure project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or any other applicable discipline is required.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in automation testing.

• Expertise in automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, JIRA, Jenkins), scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python), and SQL.

• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Experience with SAFe/Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with the VA or other Government agencies.

• Eligibility to obtain government clearance.
