Automation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Evaluate current business processes and workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.

• Partner with stakeholders to grasp operational challenges and propose automation solutions.

• Document both existing and future-state workflows.

• Design, develop, and implement scalable workflow automation solutions utilizing automation platforms, APIs, scripts, and AI-driven tools.

• Create automated workflows that enhance productivity and minimize manual intervention.

• Configure automations to facilitate business operations across various departments.

• Develop and maintain API integrations between business systems and third-party applications.

• Link software platforms and databases to ensure smooth data flow.

• Set up webhooks and integration logic to guarantee dependable communication between systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges.

• Monitor automation workflows to ensure peak performance.

• Investigate and address automation failures, bugs, and system errors.

• Conduct regular maintenance, testing, and updates on existing automations.

• Continuously refine workflows to enhance efficiency and scalability.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and automation processes.

• Train users on newly implemented automations as necessary.

• Provide ongoing support and suggestions for continual process improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in workflow automation and system integrations.

• Strong understanding of API integrations and webhooks.

• Proficiency in using ClickUp, Make (Integromat), and n8n.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects and work autonomously.

• Relevant experience in automation, systems integration, or a related IT field.
