📋 Description

• Create and develop automated test scripts of low to medium complexity.

• Execute automated test cases and document the results.

• Identify, record, and monitor software defects until resolution using defect tracking systems such as JIRA.

• Clearly and concisely document test cases, test results, and defects.

• Collaborate with the development team to gain insight into application functionality and testing requirements.

• Maintain and refresh existing automated test scripts.

• Ensure automated tests are aligned with the latest updates and improvements to the application.

• Adhere to best practices in automation.

• Mentor junior automation analysts, assisting them in enhancing their skills and understanding of automation.

• Develop test designs and apply best practices and methodologies to determine current and future solutions.

• Utilize analytical processes to comprehend issues and assess solutions.

• Exhibit a testing background that supports the development of testing solutions for applications and products.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field is preferred.

• 2-5 years of testing experience with 1-2 years specifically in automation testing or equivalent automation training.

• Strong proficiency in the Java programming language (core concepts).

• Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in requirement analysis.

• Extensive experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG) along with debugging capabilities.

• Familiarity with using version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Solid understanding of Gherkin test scenarios and feature files.

• Strong grasp of the end-to-end testing approach and end-user requirements.

• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.

• Experience in UI/API functional testing.

• Proficient in using JIRA and ZE management tools.

• Experience with SQL database querying.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to analyze test results and identify issues.
