Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Conduct automated testing for Back-End systems, encompassing APIs (REST/GraphQL) and integrations.

• Address regression scenarios while maintaining and enhancing current automated tests.

• Collaborate with requirements to develop and sustain test documentation, test cases, and checklists.

• Engage in load and performance testing initiatives, which includes creating test scenarios, analyzing outcomes, and identifying potential bottlenecks.

• Review test results, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams (Web, Mobile, DevOps).

• Take part in Agile methodologies, team meetings, and code reviews.

• Aid in refining QA processes and test infrastructure, incorporating AI-powered tools into daily operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in QA, with a minimum of 2 years focused on test automation.

• Hands-on experience in Back-End/API testing and a firm grasp of client-server architecture.

• Proficient in automation using Java/js and familiar with tools/frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, REST Assured, or similar.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, asynchronous systems, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience utilizing Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Practical application of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) in everyday tasks.
