Automation QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Analyze requirements to create both positive and negative testing scenarios.

• Engage in the development of an automated testing framework.

• Create and sustain test execution processes within an automated framework.

• Conduct manual and exploratory testing as necessary.

• Develop and utilize tools and programs to support the testing process.

• Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues.

• Document and share testing outcomes.

• Record and monitor product defects.

• Follow team priorities and thrive in a collaborative developer/tester environment.

• Work with cross-functional teams to determine testing needs and formulate test plans and cases.

• Analyze and address complex software problems efficiently and promptly.

• Collaborate closely with developers to offer insights on code quality and performance.

• Take part in code reviews and provide recommendations for enhancements.

• Create and maintain technical documentation relevant to testing.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing of web applications, web services, and APIs.

• Over 3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer specializing in Java.

• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies, including BDD and DDT.

• Experience working with automated test frameworks such as Selenide, Selenium, or Webdriver.

• Proficiency in testing frameworks like JUnit and TestNG.

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Gatling.

• Strong grasp of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Knowledge of SQL and database management practices.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.

• Understanding of client-server architecture and basics of HTTP/HTTPS.

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

• Fundamental understanding of Configuration Management and Automation tools, such as Ansible.

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Familiarity with Docker technology.
