Automation Engineer II – Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete lifecycle of automation and control systems within EQT’s natural gas facilities.

• Oversee the comprehensive management of EQT’s automation infrastructure.

• Create thorough documentation for automation project designs.

• Commission new facilities and make modifications to existing sites.

• Work in collaboration with engineering teams to convert proposed process designs into specific automation logic.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited institution.

• More than 2 years of pertinent industrial experience in controls and automation, encompassing design, testing (FAT/SAT), deployment, and commissioning.

• Capability to manage work plans and achieve deadlines with minimal supervision.

• A valid driver’s license is required; must be willing to travel to field sites within EQT’s asset areas in PA, OH, and WV.
