Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee automation initiatives and create UiPath automation solutions that align with architecture, standards, and best practices.

• Implement business requirements through RPA by developing tasks, schedules, and managing RPA bots.

• Design automation solutions and take technical ownership of project delivery and ongoing deliverables in accordance with SLAs.

• Collaborate with business managers, process owners, IT, end-users, and other team members to assess requirements and create automations.

• Convert workflow diagrams and business processes into automated solutions.

• Enhance proprietary task management tools utilized for launching bots.

• Identify new RPA use cases in partnership with end-users.

• Establish quality control policies and procedures to guarantee accurate and consistent RPA jobs.

• Conduct technology demonstrations for sales and client update presentations.

• Develop the framework for the RPA development team, including policy and process documentation.

• Update stakeholders and management on project status and any high-priority changes or support requests.

• Carry out periodic security reviews and collaborate with IT Security and Operations on automation security measures.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance for data usage and information access, including the protection of PHI under HIPAA.

• Promote the organizational culture, workflow, and standards of technical quality.

• Handle, protect, and disclose PHI according to HIPAA standards.

• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.

• Limit exposure to PHI to the minimum necessary for assigned responsibilities.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least 3 years of experience with UiPath RPA automation development tools.

• Experience in customer support and client issue resolution management.

• Strong proficiency in working with data in SQL.

• Solid grasp of workflow design principles.

• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to document and troubleshoot errors while escalating priority issues to the team lead.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting potential issues and best practices for database operations.

• Ability to juggle multiple complex and high-priority projects concurrently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.

• Excellent problem-solving and creative skills, coupled with sound judgment and the ability to make decisions based on timely and accurate analyses.

• High level of integrity and reliability, with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Availability to work outside standard business hours as necessary.

• Smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security measures.
