This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive automation solutions across the organization, encompassing integrations, data pipelines, workflow automation, and scripting.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to discover and assess potential automation opportunities.

• Use discretion to determine when to utilize AI versus traditional integrations, scripts, or workflow modifications.

• Manage integrations and data transfer between systems, including SharePoint, SQL, file shares, and documents.

• Oversee data ingestion, transformation, and ensure the freshness of downstream data.

• Create AI features such as prompt design, RAG pipelines, chunking, embedding, vector indexing, and LLM integrations.

• Work with the C#/.NET and Angular ERP development team on feature development, bug resolution, and code reviews.

• Establish and maintain containerized services, including self-hosted components like Qdrant, on Azure.

• Collaborate with specialized consultants to gain insights and reduce consulting expenses.

• Rapidly prototype to validate automation concepts before full-scale implementation.

• Develop and manage owned automation solutions following a 'You Build It, You Run It' approach.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a backend developer.

• Strong command of C#, JavaScript, Python, or Node.js.

• Understanding of RAG concepts, chunking techniques, embeddings, and vector search.

• Familiarity with vector databases like Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar platforms.

• Excellent troubleshooting abilities for integration-related challenges.

• Knowledge of workflow automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, or Airflow.

• Experience with Redis for caching, lightweight queues, and workflow state management.

• Proficient in deploying applications using Docker.

• Understanding of cloud-based environments, preferably Azure.

• Strong knowledge of version control systems and basic CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to monitor system health and resolve script failures in production environments.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• 3–7 years of full-time full-stack development experience.

• 3+ years of experience in building system integrations, data integrations, or APIs for essential business systems.

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is advantageous.

• Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time zone.

• This position is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.
