This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +5 more states.
β’ Evaluates and assesses the costs of repairs for damaged vehicles directly in the field.
β’ Decides between repair and replacement options, along with parts utilization.
β’ Analyzes and determines the repairability or salvageability of vehicles using industry-standard estimatics software.
β’ Travels to various inspection sites to evaluate vehicles on-site.
β’ Prepares cost estimates utilizing estimatics software.
β’ Collaborates directly with auto repair facilities to finalize supplemental repair processing and provides additional estimates.
β’ A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ Must possess licenses as required by state regulations.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in appraisal, or a suitable combination of education and experience is necessary.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of automobiles is essential.
β’ Capability to understand and effectively use appraisal software.
β’ Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office products.
β’ Strong organizational abilities are required.
β’ Excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
β’ Strong negotiation skills are a must.
β’ Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
