Auto Appraiser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Assess and evaluate damaged properties (automobiles or homes) either in-person or through virtual means, based on the assignment.

• Create comprehensive and detailed repair estimates utilizing industry-standard software (e.g., CCC One, Xactimate, Mitchell).

• Identify the thresholds for repair versus total loss and provide recommendations for subsequent steps.

• Examine photos, videos, and documents submitted by claimants, repair facilities, or adjusters.

• Work in partnership with adjusters, repair shops, and policyholders to confirm losses and address disputes.

• Ensure adherence to all state regulations, company protocols, and ethical standards.

• Keep precise records and documentation for claims processing.

• Remain informed about Florida's repair laws, material pricing, and appraisal methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in property or auto damage appraisal, ideally within a P&C insurance environment.

• Possession of a Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (or the capability to obtain one within 60 days) is preferred.

• Proficient in estimating software such as CCC One, Audatex, Xactimate, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of Florida's insurance and repair regulations.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.

• A valid driver's license and the capacity to travel within the designated territory.

• Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Competence in claims management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to handle a high volume of cases with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational skills, enabling effective prioritization and management of multiple tasks.
