This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Development and implementation of a strategic sales plan aimed at market expansion and customer acquisition in the food segment, with a focus on Sweet & Dairy and Beverages.
• Identification and qualification of potential clients through market analysis and the establishment of a comprehensive customer database.
• Independent management of the entire sales process – from initial contact to contract signing – while building sustainable relationships with decision-makers.
• Acquisition of profitable new customers to achieve corporate and revenue objectives.
• Development of a strong regional customer portfolio with significant growth potential.
• Advising management on sales-related matters and integrating efficient internal sales processes.
• Preparation of sales forecasts and regular analysis and reporting on business development.
• Representation of the company at industry events and trade fairs to enhance brand visibility.
• Comprehensive support for the customer experience, including briefings, sensory tests, workshops, and project coordination with the R&D department.
• Acting as a liaison between the customer and internal departments to ensure technical support and project quality.
• Participation in sensory panels to evaluate new developments and market products.
• Continuous market observation to collaboratively enhance the product portfolio with R&D.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in the field of flavors or ingredients in B2B sales within the food and beverage industry, focusing on Sweet & Dairy and Beverages.
• In-depth knowledge of the regional market and industry structure, along with the ability to act as an internal advisor.
• Willingness to travel (at least 60%) within Germany for customer visits.
• Excellent German language skills and fluent English are required; additional language skills are a plus.
