Audit Director – National Assurance, State and Local Government

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Engage and collaborate with individuals at all levels within the Firm, and occasionally with clients.

• Conduct quality control reviews for assurance engagements.

• Assess observations and findings, execute root cause analysis, and proactively work together to create process enhancements.

• Serve as a technical resource for engagement teams, providing assistance in research and consultation regarding the application of professional standards and generally accepted accounting principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Six years of experience in a public accounting setting or equivalent CPA experience.

• Knowledgeable about professional standards, Government Auditing Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Uniform Guidance.

• A strong problem solver who provides effective solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.

• Proficient in conveying complex concepts to engagement teams and clients.
