This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assisting audit engagement teams with assessments of independence related to audit tenders and potential client opportunities.

• Supporting independence activities tied to the rotation of audit clients and ensuring accurate updates to systems and records.

• Offering guidance to engagement teams across all service lines concerning the permissibility of non-audit services and technological solutions.

• Aiding in the interpretation and application of Independence policies and external regulations from organizations such as the FRC, IESBA, and SEC.

• Reviewing and addressing inquiries from the business, providing practical advice based on policy and specific circumstances.

• Assisting key operational processes within the Channel Change team that enhance the effective management of Independence activities.

• Overseeing a portfolio of consultations and assessments while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.

• Elevating complex cases when necessary and collaborating to achieve effective results.

• Contributing to projects, process enhancements, and other initiatives related to Independence as required.

• Keeping accurate records and documenting decisions in accordance with established procedures and controls.
