Audio Visual Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and recommend COTS A/V technology solutions, promote standardization, enhance engineering efficiencies, and develop technical designs aligned with AVIXA and Extron systems.

• Execute C4ISR engineering drafting, conduct drawing reviews, manage drawing control, and provide associated design services for audio-visual equipment, systems, and installations.

• Develop digital drawings utilizing AutoCAD in compliance with Appendix Q1 of the NIWC SIPH v4.1.

• Establish, update, and sustain A/V Systems work products, which encompass System Design, IDP, ILSP, Platform SOVT, and SIPH MILCON artifacts.

• Contribute government insights for bills of materials and cost estimates pertaining to MILCON projects.

• Assist in AV system integration through design, troubleshooting, and configuration, including Extron programming.

• Offer MILCON site support for infrastructure assessments, installation oversight, troubleshooting, and A/V system evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of an active DoD Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution, or a comparable combination of education and training relevant to task order requirements.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, designing, installing, and integrating audio-visual systems within government and industrial environments, including conference centers and meeting rooms.

• AVIXA CTS-D and CTS certifications.

• Certification in Extron programming.

• At least 2 years of experience with DoD design or installation projects.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• Familiarity with COTS A/V technology and Extron systems.

• Experience in C4ISR engineering drafting and drawing management.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Background in creating A/V Systems design and MILCON work products.
