Audio Quality Control Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Evaluate audio recordings for technical excellence and adherence to project specifications.

• Assess noise floor, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), RMS levels, LUFS/loudness, peak levels, clipping and distortion, and frequency spectrum.

• Confirm 48 kHz sample rate, 24-bit depth, and mono WAV format.

• Detect technical problems and flag recordings that fall short of quality benchmarks.

• Conduct thorough audio assessments using Adobe Audition.

• Validate the quality, completeness, and duration of processed recording hours.

• Maintain precise QC documentation and quality reports.

• Monitor and report recurring technical issues or trends that impact recording quality.

• Authorize compliant recording hours for subsequent processing and delivery to the client.

• Handle audio processing based on the actual volume of received recordings.

• Practical experience with Adobe Audition.

• Background in professional audio recording, editing, or quality control.

• Solid understanding of audio technical parameters and quality benchmarks.

• Capability to analyze and interpret RMS, LUFS, SNR, peak levels, frequency spectrum, noise floor, and clipping.

• Strong attention to detail and precision.

• Ability to adhere to strict technical specifications and quality standards.

• Good organizational abilities and capacity to maintain clear QC documentation.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Comfortable handling varying audio volumes based on project requirements.
