This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Process and input large volumes of credit card, debit card, subscription, and bank transactions into the system.
• Oversee daily customer direct deposits and allocate payments to customer orders.
• Reconcile transactions with supporting documentation and maintain precise financial records.
• Conduct bank reconciliation preparations and transaction matching tasks.
• Assist in month-end reconciliation activities to ensure accounts are prepared for final review.
• Oversee accounts payable email inboxes and organize incoming invoices, receipts, statements, and supporting documents.
• Maintain digital filing systems and ensure the correct storage of financial documents.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to retrieve missing receipts, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Monitor outstanding transaction inquiries and escalate unresolved items to the finance team when necessary.
• Review transactions for GST treatment and determine the applicability of GST.
• Assist with transaction coding and ensure data accuracy across various business entities.
• Help identify opportunities to enhance processes and automate manual finance workflows.
• Provide regular updates on outstanding transactions, reconciliation progress, and unresolved issues.
• Support additional accounts payable and finance administrative tasks as needed.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounts administration, with substantial hands-on experience supporting Australian bookkeeping practices is essential.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and high-volume transaction processing.
• Experience with invoices, receipts, supplier payments, and financial documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across extensive transaction volumes.
• Capability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues autonomously.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Asana, and accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or comparable platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to adhere to processes while applying critical thinking when faced with non-standard procedures.
• Competence in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in supporting month-end finance activities is highly valued.
