This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.
• Define, sustain, and oversee the event tracking architecture and taxonomy across web, mobile, CRM, and backend systems.
• Ensure uniform and dependable event tracking at all customer interaction points.
• Enhance visibility throughout the funnel from installation to repeat transactions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and reconcile any discrepancies between backend transactional data and analytics tools.
• Take ownership of the implementation, governance, and continuous optimization of AppsFlyer and mobile attribution infrastructure.
• Enhance attribution accuracy across both paid and organic channels.
• Create reliable and trustworthy channel performance reporting.
• Remove blind spots in the measurement of acquisition and activation.
• Design and maintain growth data pipelines and warehouse integrations utilizing PostgreSQL, Segment, Mixpanel, Customer.io, AppsFlyer, Firebase, Power BI, and future warehouse infrastructure.
• Develop and sustain internal growth tools utilized by Marketing, Lifecycle, Commercial, and Operations teams.
• Enable and manage lifecycle event triggers and CRM automation architecture within Customer.io.
• Oversee push notification infrastructure including Firebase FCM migration, token management, delivery reliability, and in-app messaging.
• Monitor and enhance push notification delivery, open rates, token health, and engagement performance on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Improve deep-linking reliability across web and mobile platforms.
• Design and refine referral systems, rewards and gamification infrastructure, and onboarding flows.
• Develop activation nudges, lifecycle triggers, and engagement features directly within the product.
• Build and maintain A/B testing infrastructure, feature flagging, and experimentation frameworks.
• Enhance visibility into customer drop-off points, behavioral patterns, and conversion opportunities.
• 3 to 6 years of experience specifically managing attribution infrastructure, event instrumentation, or lifecycle data systems, rather than merely using these tools as an end consumer.
• Strong full-stack engineering background across frontend (web and mobile), backend, APIs, and databases.
• Practical experience in implementing and governing AppsFlyer or a similar mobile measurement partner, including SKAdNetwork/SKAN, server-to-server postbacks, and deep linking.
• Proficient in SQL with experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with event instrumentation, tracking plans, and analytics implementation.
• Experience in implementing and managing attribution platforms, with a preference for AppsFlyer.
• Knowledge of customer data platforms, with a preference for Segment.
• Experience with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
• Familiarity with lifecycle and CRM platforms like Customer.io, Braze, or Iterable.
• Experience operating across web and mobile environments.
• Proficient in working with APIs and data integrations.
• Ability to investigate and address data inconsistencies, tracking gaps, and integration issues.
• Strong understanding of experimentation methodologies and A/B testing frameworks.
• Solid product thinking and understanding of customer journeys, activation, and lifecycle systems.
