Attorney – Strategic Civil Litigation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Preparing legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, appeals, and legal memoranda for moderately complex cases;

• Participating in hearings and presenting oral arguments;

• Formulating litigation strategies while pinpointing risks, opportunities, and legal solutions for intricate cases;

• Evaluating and interpreting contracts, with a preference for commercial and corporate agreements;

• Maintaining and updating legal management systems (LegalBox);

• Exceptional legal writing skills with the capacity to generate technically sound documents that exhibit robust legal reasoning;

• Highly organized with excellent management of multiple overlapping matters;

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in document and information review;

• Overseeing court deadlines, especially administrative deadlines, while ensuring adherence to SLAs and internal standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in strategic civil litigation;

• Comprehensive knowledge of Civil Law, Corporate Law, Consumer Protection Law, and Civil Procedure;

• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach and problem-solving skills;

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, comfortable engaging with clients and participating in meetings;

• Capability to perform tasks promptly without sacrificing technical quality;

• Resilience and the capacity to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment;

• Specialization in Civil Procedure or another Private Law area is regarded as an advantage;

• Intermediate or advanced proficiency in English is a plus;

• Experience with technology companies, digital platforms, marketplaces, or commercial disputes is considered an asset;
