This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement a forward-thinking attorney recruitment strategy that aligns with the firm's growth objectives.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and firm leadership to gain insight into hiring requirements, practice group dynamics, and candidate profiles.
• Proactively identify and recruit top legal talent, including passive candidates, through platforms such as LinkedIn, networking events, referrals, and market outreach.
• Establish and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates across essential markets and practice areas.
• Assess and evaluate candidates, delivering insightful and consultative recommendations to hiring managers.
• Cultivate relationships with law schools to support the Summer Associate program.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring results.
• Ensure accurate and current candidate records are maintained within HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and innovative sourcing methodologies.
• Communicate information clearly, directly, and without ambiguity.
• Address conflicts and disagreements in a transparent, objective, unemotional, and constructive manner.
• Uphold high standards for work performance, ethical behavior, and respect for others.
• Identify priorities and create comprehensive action plans with defined objectives, responsibilities, timelines, standards, review stages, and contingencies.
• Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned; tasks may change without prior notice.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a J.D. is strongly preferred.
• Over 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally within law firms or professional services sectors.
• Demonstrated success in directly sourcing and placing attorney candidates, including those not actively seeking opportunities.
• Comprehensive understanding of the legal talent landscape and competitive hiring environment.
• Strong consultative abilities to influence hiring decisions and provide guidance to leadership.
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail and follow-through.
• Capability to manage multiple recruitment searches simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Discretion and professionalism in managing confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/ATS platforms.
