This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and sustain Atlassian Cloud products, such as Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
• Set up and manage Jira projects, including issue types, custom fields, screens, workflows, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
• Develop and oversee Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and structures for knowledge sharing.
• Design, configure, and enhance Jira Service Management portals, request types, queues, and ITSM workflows.
• Work with business stakeholders to collect requirements and convert business processes into scalable Atlassian solutions.
• Create and sustain advanced automations utilizing Automation for Jira, ScriptRunner (Groovy), and Atlassian APIs.
• Handle integrations with enterprise platforms like Okta, Azure AD, DevOps tools, and other third-party systems.
• Manage user access, groups, permissions, and configurations for Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Conduct regular access reviews and assist with compliance and audit requirements.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents associated with Atlassian products and their integrations.
• Oversee Atlassian Marketplace apps, ensuring they meet compatibility, security, and performance standards.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to end users, resolving issues and addressing platform-related inquiries.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user manuals.
• Conduct training sessions and advocate for best practices in the use of Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management.
• Engage in governance projects, platform optimization, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of practical experience administering Atlassian platforms in enterprise settings.
• Demonstrated experience managing Jira Software, Confluence, and Jira Service Management Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in Jira workflow design and administration.
• Experience with custom fields, screens, permission schemes, and notification schemes.
• Expertise in Confluence administration and space management.
• Knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM) and ITSM process implementation.
• Experience in developing automations using: Automation for Jira.
• ScriptRunner (Groovy).
• Atlassian REST APIs.
• Experience in integrating Atlassian products with external systems through APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions.
• Familiarity with identity and access management solutions, including Okta, SSO, and SAML.
• Experience in managing users, groups, permissions, and security controls within cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills related to Atlassian configurations, integrations, and platform performance.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript is highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong customer service orientation and user support experience.
• Capacity to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
