Asylum Drafting Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Prepare asylum applications with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on substantive responses.

• Draft declarations for clients and witnesses.

• Gather and organize evidence, ensuring that each case is supported by the most relevant information available.

• Compose legal briefs and memoranda.

• Work collaboratively with legal assistants and paralegals.

• Utilize technology, including AI tools, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and strategic approach in document preparation.

• Oversee paralegals and/or other attorneys as necessary.

• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.

• Admission to a U.S. state bar in good standing.

• Strong communication skills, especially in writing.

• Experience with asylum cases is preferred but not required.
