Assurance Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.

📋 Description

• Support the execution of audits for client financial statements under the guidance of senior staff.

• Aid in finalizing audit workpapers by recording audit tests and results.

• Investigate current audit regulations and ensure adherence to US federal, state, and local laws.

• Gather, organize, and evaluate client information utilizing standard methodologies and tools.

• Help identify technical challenges and propose solutions to mitigate them.

• Suggest methods to enhance operations and improve client satisfaction.

• Keep updated on trends, regulations, and best practices in auditing and financial reporting.

• Engage in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant is highly preferred.

• Minimum of one busy season of audit experience in a Senior role, or currently serving in a Senior position at a local firm.

• Experience managing approximately 15–18 engagements with small to medium-sized businesses.

• Strong attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High proficiency in technology and essential PC applications, including Excel and Word.

• Required internet speed of 50–100 Mbps.

• A dedicated, quiet home office space is essential.

• Backup power and internet connectivity is mandatory.
