This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Independent oversight of the association's daily operations
• Providing support and assistance to the volunteer board
• Preparation, management, and oversight of the annual budget
• Administration of membership fees and oversight of the association’s bank account
• Preparation of accounting documents, payroll records, and annual financial reports
• Coordination of formal reporting obligations and compliance with association-related requirements
• Maintenance and ongoing development of the website
• Management of the LinkedIn profile and newsletter
• Member acquisition, communication, and CRM management
• Organization of events, workshops, and board participation in conferences
• Preparation, submission, and management of funding applications and funded projects
• Several years of professional experience in similar roles, including association management, NGO management, project management, administration, and/or communications
• Knowledge of association law and a basic understanding of contract law are advantageous
• An academic degree in a relevant field
• Strong intrinsic motivation and interest in sustainability, nature, mobility, tourism, and/or social transformation
• An independent, structured, and reliable working style
• Strong implementation skills and pragmatic problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and visual formats
• Native-level German and professional-level English proficiency
• Confident use of digital tools, office applications, CRM systems, and communication platforms
• A meaningful position within a European non-profit organization
