📋 Description

• Develop and direct the long-term strategy for LaunchPad & Product Research, ensuring that product investments are in line with business objectives, educational outcomes, and customer requirements.

• Advocate for a research-oriented culture where customer insights, analytics, and data-driven decision-making inform product strategy and innovation.

• Convert research insights, market intelligence, and product performance data into strategic recommendations that influence portfolio direction and long-term investment choices.

• Keep abreast of industry developments in EdTech, SaaS, AI, and learning science to identify opportunities and steer future product strategy.

• Provide executive leadership for the LaunchPad & Product Research portfolio, ensuring that product management practices, research methodologies, and analytical capabilities foster high-quality product development.

• Oversee cross-functional product planning and delivery, ensuring products are prioritized and developed based on customer insights, business value, and measurable results.

• Define and track key performance indicators that assess product effectiveness, customer engagement, adoption, and educational outcomes.

• Establish scalable product management and research processes that enhance consistency, efficiency, and organizational effectiveness while allowing for flexibility when necessary.

• Manage budgets, resources, timelines, and portfolio priorities to optimize organizational value and ensure successful product delivery.

• Promote continuous improvement through operational metrics, customer insights, AI-enabled analysis, and the ongoing refinement of product development practices.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX, QA, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and executive leadership to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 12+ years of experience in edtech leadership, product management, product strategy, or similar product leadership roles within a technology organization.

• 7+ years of increasing leadership experience managing Product Managers and cross-functional product teams, or equivalent experience.

• Proven success in defining and implementing long-term product strategies for complex technology and/or product portfolios while aligning customer needs with business goals.

• Extensive knowledge in technical and/or product management, customer discovery, product lifecycle management, Agile product development, and data-informed decision-making.

• Experience utilizing customer research, product analytics, AI-driven insights, and market intelligence to shape product strategy and investment choices.

• Strong understanding of AI-enabled product development, responsible AI practices, product experimentation, and contemporary product management methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and translate business strategies into effective product outcomes.

• Proven track record in leading product portfolio planning, investment prioritization, organizational transformation, and cross-functional strategic initiatives.

• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and executive presentation skills.

• Capability to remain stationary for extended periods while working on computers and participating in meetings.
