This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead the strategic vision, operational execution, and performance management of the Services & People Transportation sales organization.
• Provide guidance to regional channel and segment sales teams, cultivating a culture of high performance.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to craft and execute business plans aimed at aggressive growth and development objectives.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion and propose strategic initiatives for growth.
• Ensure alignment of regional sales and segment activities with Geotab’s global strategic goals.
• Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate profitability, scalability, and sustainability.
• Contribute to competitive positioning, go-to-market strategies, and plans for market expansion.
• Oversee sales team operations, performance, and development, holding accountability for Key Performance Areas (KPAs).
• Guide the team in presenting value propositions related to Geotab solutions, data packages, and Marketplace partners.
• Mentor and develop direct reports and future leaders.
• Create structured learning opportunities, feedback systems, and career development pathways.
• Assist in performance management processes alongside HR and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with marketing on campaigns aimed at enhancing brand awareness, generating leads, and driving demand.
• Represent Geotab at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
• Coordinate sales and marketing strategies and messaging.
• Communicate with product, marketing, operations, and customer success stakeholders.
• Establish processes to communicate product feedback, customer requests, and market insights to product and development teams.
• Manage high-level escalations from customers and resellers.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• 10–12 years of experience in sales, business development leadership, or a similar role.
• More than 8 years of leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• In-depth understanding of sales strategies and the complete sales cycle.
• Proven track record in developing scalable revenue-growth frameworks.
• Experience managing high-performing sales teams across diverse geographical locations.
• Proficient in sales performance data, forecasting models, and KPIs.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into customized sales solutions.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication, influencing, negotiation, and executive presentation abilities.
• Skilled in resolving complex sales, partner, and customer challenges.
• Capacity to collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and customer success teams.
• Experience leading teams through business transformations, organizational scaling, or go-to-market changes.
• Awareness of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
• Capability to manage budgets, interpret financial data, and assess commercial opportunities.
• Understanding of pricing strategy, revenue recognition, and profitability drivers.
• Proficient with CRM systems like Salesforce, sales enablement tools, business intelligence platforms, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel 30–40% of the time.
