This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Provide on-site assistance to customers and prospective clients in utilizing acute urology products and clinical services.
• Travel frequently within the designated region.
• Offer in-servicing support, product demonstrations, product evaluations, and overall account assistance.
• Help boost sales revenue in current accounts to surpass division targets.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
• Assist with product evaluations and implementations for new accounts as directed by the regional manager.
• Aid the Regional Manager by covering accounts and conducting product in-servicing, assessments, and demonstrations.
• Relay new business opportunities and product interests to the Territory Manager.
• Foster and maintain strong business relationships within supported accounts.
• Organize logistics, timing, strategy, and execution of customer evaluations.
• Provide customer education and in-servicing.
• Enhance clinical knowledge regarding relevant disease states.
• Develop territory management and sales skills.
• Manage expenses within budget and allocate resources in accordance with BD guidelines and policies.
• Keep in touch with the sales team, customer service, sales management, and home office personnel.
• Ensure compliance with BD quality processes, patient safety standards, and product quality requirements.
• Complete call reports, monthly performance reports, expense reports, and other administrative tasks.
• Attend and represent BD at local, regional, and national medical conferences.
• Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Proactively manage vendor credentialing while planning customer-facing travel.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team environment, preferably in a sales context.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, communication, organizational, and planning skills.
• Strong ability to quickly adapt to changing environments.
• Skills in information gathering, analysis, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
• Sound judgment and maturity.
• Basic understanding of mathematical processes.
• Willingness to travel 80%, including overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the Company.
• Clean criminal background as per BD standards.
• Ability to meet and maintain access requirements for customers/medical facilities, including satisfactory drug screenings.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with Company policies/guidelines.
• Strong time management abilities and aptitude for meeting deadlines.
• Self-driven with the capability to balance priorities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain vendor credentialing and/or certification in the relevant clinical area.
• A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 0 to 2 years of general sales experience.
• Competence in reading, understanding, analyzing, and interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to present information and engage with healthcare professionals, executives, managers, clients, and customers.
• Capability to perform basic mathematical calculations and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to tackle practical problems and interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks including sitting, bending, stooping, keyboard use, seeing, talking, and hearing.
• May occasionally lift items weighing between 10 to 25 lbs.
