This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in defining project/pilot/product scope for the Technology Portfolio through both qualitative and quantitative research, which encompasses interviews, surveys, process mapping, and policy evaluations.
• Create and execute daily project deliverables, including work plans, public forms and applications, project charters, SWOT analyses, low- or no-code demonstration tools, custom AI agents, dashboards, streamlined policy and procedure documents, research reports, engaging training materials, case studies, and effective public communications.
• Oversee daily change management and implementation tasks, which involve conducting meetings and workshops with government and nonprofit stakeholders, providing coaching and advisory support to government partners, and coordinating project management check-ins.
• Track and enhance trends in government technology, cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, and represent PPG at various conferences and events.
• Assess and test new technologies pertinent to PPG’s initiatives and partnerships, offering insights for internal operational enhancements.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required, or equivalent professional experience and/or certifications may be considered in place of formal education.
• A minimum of three years of experience in government technology (in either the public or private sector) or relevant work experience is necessary.
• Practical experience in implementing or testing new AI or software within a government environment, including navigating technology procurement processes, developing project or pilot workplans, and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with diverse interests.
• In-depth knowledge of state and local government operations covering areas such as permitting, licensing, budgeting, or human resources.
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a proven capacity to produce engaging, clear, and error-free work products.
• Strong project management skills, demonstrated by a history of independently managing projects and prioritizing multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Familiarity with product management frameworks (e.g., agile, scrum, backlog management, product road mapping) and/or UX design processes (e.g., design thinking, usability testing, research synthesis), along with tools (e.g., Figma, Miro).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Visio) as well as the Power Automate Platform.
• General comfort with Zoom, MailChimp, Miro, and/or other outreach or virtual collaboration tools.
• General comfort with (and responsible usage of) generative AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.
• Capability to test products (including AI tools), assess outputs, and suggest improvements based on performance metrics and user feedback.
• A keen interest in emerging AI technologies and a readiness to learn new platforms and methodologies.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required, at least six times a year.
