This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +14 more states.
β’ Design system architectures that encompass application and integration layers utilizing unified data platforms on Microsoft Fabric.
β’ Ensure clarity, alignment, and effective execution of architectural designs.
β’ Offer comprehensive technical leadership and oversight for various projects.
β’ Manage project scope, risks, and third-party involvement to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline.
β’ Lead initial engagements with a technical focus, including code reviews and proof-of-concept development.
β’ Provide guidance and direction for a portfolio of client projects.
β’ Work collaboratively with clients to define project requirements clearly.
β’ Promote strong architectural practices and ensure alignment of solutions with business goals and user requirements.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present a cohesive strategic vision.
β’ Keep abreast of technology trends and industry standards.
β’ Deliver persuasive technical solutions while actively engaging with clients.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture and technical design.
β’ At least 8 years of leadership experience within technical teams.
β’ Hands-on expertise in designing and implementing production solutions on Microsoft Fabric.
β’ Proficiency in OneLake, lakehouse and warehouse design, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI semantic models.
β’ Experience in migrating from legacy Azure data services or on-premises BI systems to Microsoft Fabric.
β’ Knowledge of capacity planning, governance, and security protocols within a Microsoft Fabric environment.
β’ Familiarity with system design, API development, infrastructure management, and best architectural practices.
β’ In-depth understanding of various technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and architectural patterns, including microservices, cloud computing, and APIs.
β’ Capability to design scalable, reliable, and maintainable architectures.
β’ Experience in project delivery management, encompassing scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
β’ Expertise in client consulting, understanding client needs, industry trends, and business processes.
β’ Working knowledge of relevant Azure data services.
β’ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
β’ Consideration for international relocation or remote work outside the United States is not available.
