Associate Structural Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct member sizing in accordance with LRFD and/or ASD methodologies following AISC 360 standards.

• Create 3D structural models for ducting, internal liners, and supporting steel structures.

• Ensure that designs comply with AISC 360, ASCE 7, AWS D1.1, and relevant international building regulations.

• Evaluate fabrication drawings and respond to shop inquiries.

• Collaborate with pipe stress/mechanical engineers as well as project engineers and managers.

• Compile clear and organized structural calculation packages for client assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D, and AutoCAD software.

• Basic knowledge of high-temperature materials and their thermal expansion properties.

• Strong capabilities in technical writing.

• Experience with Autodesk® Inventor is preferred.

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) status is preferred.

• Familiarity with standard industrial welding practices and fabrication limitations.
