Associate Staff Engineer – Automation QA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Collaborate effectively as an individual team member.

• Enhance the current Automation framework by integrating new features.

• Develop automated scripts for both UI and APIs.

• Identify deficiencies in the Quality Engineering (QE) process, discuss with the team, and implement solutions.

• Monitor potential risks, escalate them, and actively work on risk mitigation strategies.

• Participate in Scrum meetings.

• Perform manual testing on an ad-hoc basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in UI and API automation testing.

• Background in developing test automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative team player.

• Familiarity with Jenkins and GitLab.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
