This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Assist in the implementation of high-priority fundraising projects, collaborating closely with the Special Projects team and senior leadership.
• Aid in the creation of concept notes, pitch decks, briefing documents, and engagement strategies for major donors and partners.
• Facilitate the coordination of cross-functional contributions from the Programs, Product, Research, Finance, and Programs teams.
• Conduct research and identify potential new funders, partners, and strategic opportunities.
• Support the initial scoping of new ideas by collecting background research, synthesizing insights, and highlighting promising leads.
• Monitor emerging trends and opportunities pertinent to GiveDirectly's fundraising and program goals.
• Establish and maintain systems, trackers, and documentation to enhance the efficiency and quality of the Special Projects team.
• Assist with Salesforce and internal tracking to ensure that engagement records, timelines, and deliverables remain current.
• Help institutionalize insights gained from donor interactions and special projects to enhance future efforts.
• Provide support for logistics, preparation, and follow-up related to donor meetings, events, and field visits.
• Ensure that donor experiences are meaningful, well-organized, and consistent with GiveDirectly's values and strategy.
• Strong alignment with GiveDirectly's values and active demonstration of our core competencies: emotional intelligence, problem-solving, project management, follow-through, and promoting inclusivity. • Proven history of determined problem-solving and achieving results.
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail, combined with consistent reliability and strong follow-through.
• Over 3 years of experience in a dynamic, high-performance setting (e.g., consulting, startups, nonprofits).
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, particularly for high-stakes and external-facing materials, with a continuous desire to enhance these skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting as circumstances change.
• Genuine passion for GiveDirectly's mission and the chance to drive significant organizational growth and impact for beneficiaries.
• Experience utilizing AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
