Associate Solutions Architect, French or German Fluency

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to GitLab prospects and customers on how the DevSecOps platform meets their technical needs and business goals.

• Assist organizations in navigating digital transformation throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Take ownership of technical evaluations, including proof of value initiatives and workshops.

• Design solution architectures and offer technical support during the pre-sales process.

• Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing teams.

• Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at surpassing revenue objectives through GitLab adoption.

• Educate small and medium-sized business customers on GitLab’s value proposition and facilitate successful implementations.

• Oversee POC/POV ownership, provide support for RFPs/audits, design workshops, and conduct value stream assessments.

• Cultivate customer relationships and empower GitLab advocates.

• Act as the customer representative to Product Development, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Engage in continuous professional and technical skill development while maintaining specialized expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in pre-sales, consulting, or related roles engaging with customers.

• Familiarity or a strong desire to learn about the complete software development lifecycle.

• Understanding of contemporary DevSecOps practices and CI/CD workflows.

• Practical comprehension of cloud computing concepts and associated technologies.

• Capability to discuss deployment, security, and operational options with technical teams.

• Proficiency in leading proofs of concept/value, assisting with tenders or audits, and designing and conducting workshops.

• Strong technical communication and presentation abilities.

• Flexibility to tailor messages for both practitioners and senior business and technical decision-makers.

• Expertise in building trusted relationships and serving as a customer advocate.

• Drive for ongoing professional development and learning of new technologies.

• Fluency in German or French is a plus.
