This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Update customer work requests and adhere to operating procedures to execute MSS support tasks.
• Conduct health checks, manage reporting, acknowledge and assign work tickets, perform basic troubleshooting, and fulfill other requirements essential for MSS service health and operation.
• Contribute to the creation of knowledge bases and troubleshooting documentation.
• Acquire skills across various security products while collaborating closely with senior staff, Service Delivery, and clients.
• Maintain ongoing communication regarding status and ensure timely responses to MSS service tickets.
• Act as the primary responder for Cyber Operations client systems.
• Take responsibility for client configuration issues and monitor them until resolution.
• Serve as an escalation point for other Associate Engineers, offering guidance and mentoring.
• Provide recommendations on best practices for SIEM and Enterprise Security products.
• Deliver remote consulting services through interactive client sessions.
• Assist in the implementation of a variety of product vendors and technologies.
• Implement and configure software and appliance-based products in large enterprise environments.
• Develop and maintain content and reporting.
• Offer escalation support to Tier 1 and Tier 2 for Authorized Support Customers.
• Engage with customers and partners as needed.
• Conduct knowledge transfers to clients related to security and system configuration awareness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all policies and standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Security, or Networking, or an Associate’s degree in a related field with equivalent experience is mandatory.
• 2-4 years of experience in the relevant discipline is required.
• General knowledge of security, including IT knowledge, network troubleshooting, cloud certification, and additional IT experience.
• CCNA, SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, MS Sentinel, Splunk, or MCSE certifications are preferred upon hire.
• CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+ certifications are preferred upon hire.
• Experience with internal and client ticketing and knowledge management systems for incident and problem tracking, such as ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
• Practical knowledge and substantial experience with TCP/IP networking and network protocols, including a basic understanding of the OSI model.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of server-grade applications, including DBMS, DNS, SMTP, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, Active Directory, Identity Management, Patch Management, LDAP, SQL, and antivirus solutions.
• Training and experience with one or more non-SIEM network security products, such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, and Cortex XDR.
• Professional experience in working with networks and network architecture.
• Strong presentation skills along with effective written and oral communication capabilities.
• Customer support experience is essential.
