This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Examine the behavior of Amazon shoppers, the dynamics of their purchasing journey, and the performance of categories within Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care to produce clear and actionable insights.
β’ Utilize Amazon-specific, national, syndicated, and internal data sources to uncover patterns, gaps, and opportunities for growth.
β’ Assist in the design and implementation of both qualitative and quantitative research to tackle important questions related to shoppers, categories, and portfolios.
β’ Convert business inquiries into suitable research methodologies, collaborating with internal teams or external vendors as necessary.
β’ Integrate findings from various sources to create a unified, insight-driven perspective.
β’ Keep track of competitive actions, innovations, and shifts in assortment across Amazon Beauty categories.
β’ Detect emerging trends in Amazon shopper behavior through data analysis and observation of the marketplace.
β’ Cultivate a strong understanding of Amazon's ecosystem and work alongside different teams to incorporate insights into planning, strategic discussions, and client-facing engagements.
β’ Produce clear and persuasive insight deliverables that effectively shape decision-making.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree is required.
β’ 3-6 years of experience in consumer or shopper insights, category management, analytics, eCommerce, or related roles in CPG/retail.
β’ Practical experience in utilizing syndicated POS and shopper data (e.g., Circana, Numerator) to derive actionable insights.
β’ Capability to quickly become proficient in Amazon-specific tools and performance platforms (e.g., Stackline, Vendor Central, internal analytics tools).
β’ A strong foundation in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
β’ Experience in supporting or conducting custom research (e.g., surveys, consumer engagements, ad-hoc studies, etc.).
β’ Demonstrated ability to consolidate insights from multiple data sources and research inputs into clear, forward-looking recommendations.
β’ Excellent storytelling and presentation abilities.
β’ Proficiency in identifying strategic opportunities by linking cultural, socioeconomic, and category trends.
