Associate Scientist, Image Analysis

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Process and quantify various types of image data (PET, SPECT, CT, MR, BLI, CFT)

• Analyze image data alongside non-image data to derive outcomes for studies

• Create summary output materials for clients, including images, plots, statistics, and reports

• Manage documentation and organize study data within online project repositories

• Conduct independent reviews of data and study outputs, communicating findings and anomalies with the study team

• Identify workflow challenges and suggest/support the implementation of improvements

• Automate workflows by developing new scripting tools or modifying existing ones

• Utilize data analysis skills to effectively use in-house developed software (VivoQuant, iPACS) and provide testing and feedback on new features

• Offer guided software development (Python, VivoScript) or testing support to enhance workflows and new tools (up to 20% of time)

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS in a relevant technical discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, physics, or chemistry)

• 0-1 years of applicable academic or industry experience

• Preferred experience in Python or other programming languages

• Experience in image analysis is preferred

• Fluent in English
