This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Gaining a comprehensive understanding of all products, surgical specialties, and devices within the portfolio.
• Supporting and promoting our Surgical Portfolio in a designated geographic area to address customer clinical and economic requirements.
• Key contacts include surgeons, nurses, and operating room personnel.
• Engaging with your existing customer base and following up for additional purchases, pricing/delivery concerns, and overall support to enhance their experience.
• Independently devising and executing selling strategies to market products of intermediate complexity directly to customers via phone and in-person interactions.
• Establishing an understanding of the competitive advantages of the portfolio and conveying this information to customers to aid them in product selection.
• Scheduling and fulfilling customer sales call quotas while following up on opportunities to grow the business.
• Conducting extensive prospecting, lead generation, and lead follow-up for sales teams; assisting in setting up product demonstrations for customers as requested.
• Ensuring clinical adoption across the product portfolio through trialing, demonstrations, and in-servicing to enhance customer adoption.
• Supporting site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms as required.
• Documenting activities and contacts within Salesforce.com, ensuring all information remains up-to-date and relevant.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2+ years of experience or at least 2 years in an inside or field sales role within the healthcare or similar industry preferred.
• Strong preference for candidates with medical device experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Familiarity with clinical workflow/clinical language and the hospital environment is a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills, demonstrating a solid understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of Salesforce is advantageous.
• Exceptional formal presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly over the phone.
• Flexible and self-sufficient, with the capability to collaborate with multiple team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Must be willing and able to travel at least 50-75%, which may involve visits to remote or urban areas either independently or with other personnel.
