Associate Research Director – Complex Care

📋 Description

• Engage in client discussions alongside clinicians to convey the latest research insights, facilitate shared decision-making, and ensure clarity regarding available options.

• Evaluate patient medical records by extracting data and tracking lab values, symptoms, medication histories, or clinical outcomes.

• Identify, assess, and analyze literature on a broad spectrum of clinical and research topics. Summarize articles and compare the findings of clinical studies, presenting this information in an accessible format for patients.

• Recognize, analyze, and interpret molecular diagnostics and laboratory tests to provide accurate and meaningful assessments, offering insights that support patient care decisions.

• Investigate, assess, and prioritize treatment alternatives for individual cases, which includes reviewing and interpreting the standard of care, the latest professional guidelines, and current investigational methodologies. This also involves identifying and connecting with key opinion leaders and experts in relevant fields to guide decision-making.

• Identify and assess potential clinical trials, which includes creating spreadsheets, conducting database searches, gathering supporting evidence, and contacting trial sites to locate suitable clinical trials for our clients.

• Develop patient education materials (such as written reports, presentations, spreadsheets, graphs, charts, etc.) that furnish essential information related to clinical history, diagnosis, and treatment choices.


⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in a scientific or healthcare discipline is mandatory.

• Early career professional experience with complex medical disorders.

• Preference will be given to candidates holding a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and/or having orthopedic experience.

• Proficiency in best practices and well-honed research skills in exploring medical literature (e.g., PubMed, Google Scholar).

• Outstanding interpersonal abilities, a service-oriented mindset, and strong written and verbal communication skills to act as a trusted advisor to clients.

• Efficient, resourceful, and creative, capable of making swift decisions amid uncertainty and deadlines.

• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively with peers, co-workers, and external experts to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
