Associate Regulatory Consultant – Hazard Communication

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Create Safety Data Sheets and labels for chemical products distributed in international markets.

• Classify substances and mixtures in accordance with GHS standards, including EU/GB CLP and other global regulations.

• Evaluate technical and compositional data to make informed Hazard Communication decisions.

• Assist with Poison Centre Notifications and related regulatory processes.

• Assess SDS and other Hazard Communication documents for compliance and quality assurance.

• Investigate regulatory requirements and address technical and client inquiries.

• Collaborate on international Hazard Communication initiatives and managed services.

• Engage with clients and Yordas teams to grasp requirements and deliver exceptional quality work.

• Enhance technical processes, guidance, systems, and tools.

• Take ownership of client relationships and projects, provide regulatory consultancy, conduct quality reviews, mentor colleagues, contribute to training, and help in developing new services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a scientific field, especially Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Biomedicine, Natural Sciences, or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant experience in the industry.

• Strong scientific reasoning skills.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret scientific and technical information.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• A strong appreciation for accuracy and consistency.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to manage shifting priorities and organize personal workload effectively.

• Confidence in working both independently and as part of an international team.

• A desire to expand technical knowledge and skills.

• Relevant experience is a plus, including Safety Data Sheet authoring or review, GHS or CLP classification, chemical or product labeling, chemical regulatory affairs or product stewardship, REACH or CLP, Poison Centre Notifications/UFI, Dangerous Goods, chemical compliance in industry, regulatory or scientific consultancy, and SDS authoring or regulatory software.

• Candidates must reside in the UK or Turkey.
