Associate, Quantitative Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Assist in implementing solutions that enhance efficiency for the monthly valuation of commercial mortgage loans.

• Analyze investment data, drawing detailed inferences and insights.

• Evaluate intricate financial models for opportunities to enhance efficiency.

• Leverage the latest technological tools—including AI coding tools and agents—to streamline processes and reduce the complexity of Excel workflows.

• Develop code that imports and exports data to and from Excel and databases.

• Convert components of Excel models into C# code for use in a web application.

• Acquire skills in using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Incorporate various time-saving and beneficial features into our suite of .NET Core web applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Strong foundation and familiarity with at least one type of real estate equity and/or debt investment, such as REITs, CMBS, RMBS, and/or whole loan trading.

• Proficient in writing code in an object-oriented programming language.

• Skilled in manipulating various types of database data using SQL.

• Experience working with complex Excel workbooks.

• Familiarity with C# or a willingness to learn C#.

• Proficient user of either T-SQL, Oracle SQL, or Snowflake SQL.
