This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Product Strategy: Collaborate with the larger product team to establish the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with business objectives (participate in big room planning, etc.)
• Market Research: Perform market and competitive analysis to uncover trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Utilize insights to guide product development and positioning.
• Requirements: Engage with product, customer, support, and sales teams, along with other stakeholders, to convert market challenges into solution requirements. Draft well-defined features and stories with explicit acceptance criteria.
• Product Development: Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality market solutions.
• Communication: Guarantee that product updates, timelines, and outcomes are effectively communicated to stakeholders and executives. Manage cross-functional expectations to promote alignment across the organization and for customers.
• Outcome Analysis: Track user feedback and leverage data to drive continuous improvement and shape future product decisions.
• Collaboration: Cultivate strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure product success.
• Backlog Management: Take ownership of product backlogs by drafting, refining, and prioritizing user stories.
• Agile Leadership: Actively engage in all Scrum-related events as the Product Manager; leading refinements, eliminating impediments, and making real-time decisions.
• Product Expertise: Comprehend and convey product details as they currently exist and the vision for the future.
• Prioritization: Skillfully balance product value, urgency, opportunity, cost, and risk in all product-related decisions.
• 1-3+ years of experience as a software/digital product manager, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise software company, or 5+ years in restaurant operations utilizing/administering technology, including POS and Back Office.
• Experience working with geographically dispersed teams in building SaaS products, preferably in Eastern Europe.
• Ability to embody PAR's values of speed, ownership, outcome focus, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
• Comfortable engaging with internal senior management as well as counterparts in client organizations.
• Enjoy being hands-on, directly collaborating with designers and engineers, and when necessary, diving into the details of software product development.
• Ability to work during US east coast hours while coordinating with Eastern European time zones.
• Practical experience with Agile development processes, particularly SCRUM.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills paired with strong interpersonal abilities.
• High level of initiative and organizational skills, with the capability to independently manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment across various software teams.
• Ability to clearly articulate market problems, providing context to design and engineering team members.
• Demonstrated understanding of the fundamentals of restaurant operations, including labor and COGs.
• Strong grasp of the rapidly evolving, multi-faceted restaurant technology landscape.
• Subject matter expert/industry experience in hospitality, restaurants, Point of Sale, and/or back office.
