This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the formulation and implementation of product strategies aimed at fostering profitable growth in Property & Casualty (P&C).
• Contribute to the creation of rate plans and the development of product enhancement roadmaps.
• Conduct financial, market, competitive, and industry analyses to discover growth opportunities and identify emerging trends.
• Collaborate with IT, Research, Pricing, Claims, Regulatory, Marketing, and Field Sales teams to execute product and pricing enhancements.
• Aid in the formulation of marketing and product strategies to enhance profitability and competitiveness in the market.
• Support state filing processes by liaising with compliance and regulatory teams regarding rate and form submissions.
• Develop and sustain regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators, including loss ratio, close ratio, retention, and profitability of new business.
• Collect, analyze, and format extensive datasets to facilitate product decisions and business recommendations.
• Back underwriting strategy by helping to define underwriting appetite and maintain underwriting guidelines.
• Engage in new product development initiatives, including conducting competitive benchmarking, vendor assessments, and variable selection.
• Oversee assigned product initiatives while supporting project planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Articulate product performance, state strategies, and key initiatives to internal stakeholders, agents, field leaders, vendors, and regulatory partners.
• Assist in business responses to regulatory changes, operational challenges, and evolving market conditions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance, product management, product analytics, underwriting, pricing, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient analytical and financial modeling skills with the capability to interpret market and business data effectively.
• Experience in generating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel and business intelligence tools.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, with competence in handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with insurance product development, pricing, underwriting, and regulatory filing processes is preferred.
• Salary is commensurate with experience, location, and other relevant factors.
