Associate Principal, Policy – Vaccines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a primary subject matter authority on policies related to vaccine coverage, payment, and reimbursement.

• Provide strategic and tactical recommendations tailored to the policy and business requirements of clients.

• Oversee the daily execution of client projects and engagements under senior leadership guidance.

• Manage project teams and define the strategy for projects or engagements.

• Guarantee quality and prompt delivery to clients.

• Create innovative and unique offerings for clients.

• Engage in firm-wide strategic and planning discussions.

• Formulate and implement business development plans that contribute to annual sales and revenue objectives.

• Supervise, train, and mentor team members.

• Produce thought leadership content to enhance the visibility of personal expertise as well as the capabilities of the Policy Practice.

• Lead multiple projects and accounts as a subject matter expert.

• Deliver actionable policy and business support to vaccine clients.

• Conduct regulatory analysis, support evidence generation/review, perform policy analysis, develop legislative strategies, and model proposed and enacted policies using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health policy, public policy, public health, healthcare management, business administration, health economics, or biological sciences.

• Over 6 years of relevant experience in healthcare consulting, vaccine manufacturing, or similar sectors focusing on policy and market access, marketing, or commercialization of vaccine products.

• Established expertise in the U.S. vaccine policy and market access landscape at both federal and state levels.

• Comprehensive knowledge of vaccine coverage, payment, reimbursement, acquisition and contracting, billing complexities, and payer-specific strategies.

• Experience in analyzing vaccine reimbursement rates, payment analytics, and competitive data.

• Proven experience managing primary market research projects, including in-depth interviews and advisory boards with payers, integrated delivery networks, public health providers, and other healthcare decision-makers.

• Practical experience in developing market access resources and promotional/non-promotional materials.

• Familiarity with managing Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review processes and Veeva Vault submission and approval workflows.

• Preparedness to create client-ready PowerPoint presentations and Excel-based analyses.

• Experience in project management and leadership, including managing scopes of work, budgets, client deliverables, timelines, and client relations.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred but not mandatory: knowledge of vaccine coding, including applications for the AMA CPT Staff and Panel.

• Preferred but not mandatory: ability to assess channel options for pipeline immunization products and identify strategic opportunities.
