This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Lead and oversee project teams in executing cross-functional initiatives at the convergence of US health policy and life sciences commercialization.
• Collaborate with clients to articulate policy implications related to pricing, access, and reimbursement strategies.
• Direct and manage policy strategy projects to assist clients in defining their stances, prioritizing issues, formulating policy proposals, and implementing policy communications.
• Support project leadership in establishing project objectives; develop and oversee project plans and teams.
• Determine necessary project tasks, aid project leads in assigning responsibilities to team members, and ensure accountability for task completion.
• Design, implement, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary research initiatives.
• Identify critical insights, recommendations, opportunities, and risks to guide corporate and commercial strategies.
• Cultivate business relationships and engage with senior-level clients.
• Recruit, nurture, and manage top-tier talent.
• Recognize business opportunities and assist in new business development efforts.
• Proven expertise in engaging new clients and supporting business development initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate health policy analysis into commercial decisions for life sciences clients.
• Substantial knowledge of US drug pricing, coverage, and reimbursement policies as they pertain to life sciences commercialization.
• Comprehensive understanding of insurance reform, PBM economics, and shifts in the provider landscape.
• Previous experience in specialty therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Immunology, Neurology, and/or Rare Diseases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, MBA, or MS).
• A minimum of 6 years of consulting experience in life sciences and/or relevant biopharma industry experience or trade associations.
• Previous experience in a US health policy setting relevant to the life sciences sector.
• Demonstrated thought leadership in health policy is a significant advantage.
