Associate Principal Engineer, ServiceNow – CMDB, ITOM, ITSM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the ServiceNow team to deploy ServiceNow solutions across various global locations.

• Offer technical expertise in the ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules.

• Design, develop, and execute ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications.

• Analyze business requirements and align them with standardized processes and solution designs.

• Create technical specifications and implementation documents.

• Develop and implement technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications according to business needs.

• Assist in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the CMDB.

• Implement and maintain Service Mapping solutions.

• Conduct component integration testing to ensure quality delivery.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee successful project execution.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on the ServiceNow platform.

• Ensure compliance with ServiceNow best practices and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

• Participate in design and code reviews while providing technical recommendations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of experience.

• Extensive experience in ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Integrations.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing ServiceNow integrations.

• Strong comprehension of ServiceNow platform architecture and best practices.

• Experience in implementing and supporting ITSM and ITOM solutions.

• Proficiency in CMDB management and Service Mapping implementation.

• Familiarity with other ServiceNow modules such as SPM, GRC, or HRSD.

• ITIL knowledge is advantageous.

• ServiceNow certification in any module is a plus.

• Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Experience in developing technical solutions and conducting integration testing.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to work effectively in a global delivery environment.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
