This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Offer proactive design leadership and guidance to various engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineering leaders and Product managers
• Oversee the architectural design of multi-tiered products and data applications across projects
• Manage the application portfolio to address technology debt and reduce risks
• Convert client business use cases and technical requirements into technical designs
• Align architectural choices with requirements and convey them to developers
• Identify and assess solution options to select the most suitable for client needs
• Establish guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements during implementation
• Draft and review architecture and high-level design documentation
• Evaluate architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and non-functional requirements
• Formulate comprehensive solutions for both functional and non-functional requirements and define technologies, patterns, and frameworks
• Leverage technology integration insights across projects
• Address code and review issues through thorough root-cause analysis
• Execute proof-of-concept implementations to verify designs and technologies
• 11+ years of overall experience
• Extensive experience with architecture and development in C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, and unit testing
• Proven experience in designing full-stack solutions for multi-tiered modern software and data applications
• Strong practical software engineering background and enthusiasm for innovation
• Knowledge of software architecture and refactoring patterns
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, microservices architecture, REST, and service-oriented architecture
• Experience with Azure DevOps or CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, PowerShell, NPM, Terraform, ARM, and IIS
• Hands-on experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL
• Comprehension of design patterns, concurrent design, and multithreading
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across various technologies and environments
• Experience architecting AI-related solutions utilizing AI-assisted coding tools like Claude
• Exposure to solutions involving AI integration
• Familiarity with MCP, prompt/context engineering, model families, and LLM risks and ethical considerations
• Experience designing and delivering highly available cloud architectures on Azure/AWS using PaaS, IaaS, and containerized Docker/Kubernetes workloads
• Experience in designing cloud data lakes, data warehouses, and data processing solutions
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, and SRE best practices
• Advanced problem-solving experience leading teams in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex project challenges
• Strong modeling skills for effectively representing complex concepts graphically
• Capacity to guide engineering teams and collaborate with data/product stakeholders in an agile environment
• Ability to balance architectural integrity with constraints and business objectives
• Experience in developing technology roadmaps and planning solution evolution, technology choices, and risk management
• Awareness of security engineering best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
