Associate Principal Engineer – AVEVA System Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement AVEVA System Platform and MES solutions tailored for discrete manufacturing settings.

• Create object models for production resources and aid in digital manufacturing efforts.

• Execute OEE monitoring, production oversight, and performance reporting utilizing AVEVA MES.

• Configure visualization, Andon, and historian solutions to enhance shop-floor visibility and analytics.

• Integrate MES, PLC, SCADA, and ERP systems to ensure uninterrupted production processes.

• Assess production performance, downtime, and cycle-time discrepancies to facilitate optimization.

• Set standards for graphics, object templates, and reusable manufacturing frameworks.

• Collaborate with production, automation, and IT teams to provide scalable manufacturing solutions.

• Diagnose system and integration challenges while supporting continuous improvement efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of total experience.

• Extensive experience with AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA MES, and industrial digitalization solutions within discrete manufacturing contexts.

• Practical expertise in the development, deployment, and administration of AVEVA System Platform.

• Familiarity with AVEVA MES Performance and Operations for OEE monitoring and production oversight.

• In-depth knowledge of AVEVA OMI, InTouch, Andon systems, and industrial visualization tools.

• Experience utilizing AVEVA Historian for the collection and analysis of production data.

• Proficient SQL skills and experience in managing manufacturing and production data.

• Understanding of discrete manufacturing processes such as Automotive, Packaging, OEM, and Assembly Lines.

• Knowledge of MES, SCADA, PLC, ERP integrations, and IT/OT environments.

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
