This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Support senior scientific personnel in delivering scientific assistance for designated client projects.
• Create scientifically precise and strategically effective content for medical affairs and publication outputs.
• Engage with clients and collaborate with faculty under the guidance of senior medical personnel.
• Ensure that medical communications assigned are accurate, clinically pertinent, and reflect the latest medical advancements.
• Consult with key opinion leaders to provide expert resources and information.
• Stay informed about developments in the pharmaceutical industry and relevant medications.
• Collaborate with pharmaceutical industry clients on the goals and objectives of communication programs.
• Conduct literature reviews and keep abreast of medical progress.
• Analyze, interpret, and utilize complex medical documents.
• Synthesize clinical trial findings and convey their significance to both physician and consumer audiences.
• Participate in the design and execution of clinical trial investigator meetings and advisory boards.
• Author medical manuscripts, white papers, monographs, slide kits, abstracts, and posters.
• Edit medical documents, ensure scientific accuracy, and provide quality control for writers and freelancers.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President.
• An advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacology, or medicine.
• Prior experience in a medical communications agency.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong financial, administrative, and organizational abilities, including multitasking skills.
• Excellent client communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and faculty members.
• High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
